It is with great pleasure to partner with the Loudon County Animal Shelter to help increase their dogs' adoptablity by enriching their lives. Visit the Animal Shelter at

Volunteers walk and spend time playing with the shelter dogs. This gives them some comfort and contact outside their pens. Other volunteer efforts include brain engagement and enrichment programs. Experienced trainer, Gretchen Farrell, helps by providing scent work games and trick training that helps lower the stress of the shelter dogs. Which also helps them find their FUR-ever home.

Thank you Dr. Heather O'Brien for offering to support our Vaccine Program. We are excited to start offering this community service in the near future.
Dr. O'Brien is a long-time Loudon County vet. She and her husband are retired, but their loved for animal has not stop. Dr. O'Brien supports the animal shelter by serving as their part-time vet. We all love her!
